March Colour – Orange Crystals
The rays of orange crystals give us some of the most beautiful crystals and gems.
In the southern hemisphere orange is the colour of the natural transition from high hot summer, to the cooler days of autumn. This is the time of passage from the bright yellows and golds to the more somber colours of the waning year. It is the colour of the first hints of the turning leaves, and the darkening of the earth as the sun moves further south shortening the days and the light rays.
Orange is the colour of joy and friendship. Joy is pure emotion, an elusive one, but a heart felt one. Often as people grow older they lose the capacity for experiencing joy.If something seems to be missing but you cant really describe it, perhaps a bit of orange mixed in your daily life is needed.
Orange is happy, outgoing, and sharing colour. It brings things and people together. It is the “home stone”, the “village stone” and the “community stone”.
Orange is also the colour of physical pleasures, including those of intimacy.
