I’ll be amazed if any of us are awake enough to be reading this months Blog post, it’s Fish Season. HellO Pisces! Happy Birthdaze!!
Hands up who’s been feeling groggy, soggy or foggy? On the other hand, you may have felt extra romantic, creative & dreamy, it all depends on where you’re at. Pisces is Ruled by the Planet Neptune. Neptune… God of the Sea. How often do we hear Scientists say that the Ocean is a vast mystery? That there is life deep down, no one has ever seen? Pisces Energy is much like that, so right now it’s really our internal selves, our subconscious that holds sway. Of course that makes it a bit of a challenge to think in a logical, linear way. That was last Month, when Aquarius Ruled.
In general, Air & Fire Signs are likely feeling a little unclear & frustrated. Earth Signs too, to some extent. But the Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer & Scorpio) are used to all this, it’s their typical M.O. So they’re feeling more along the lines of how you do if riding a jet ski. If you’re feeling confused or can’t make up your mind, your Watery friends are the one’s who can help you process everything now. They work this like a hot knife through butter. Either way, hang tight guys, Aries Season is fast approaching & the Planets will be on fire then! Quite enough power to dry up all the rain & get us up & happening, once more.
For now, try to utilise this Energy by day dreaming & letting your imagination cook up your Next Big Thing. As mentioned, Pisces is your subconscious. The thing that gets to work when we are using the other bits of our brain to tackle our every day lives. Meditation, journaling, painting, drawing, dancing, sewing, cooking… you get the idea… Creative Bender Time is here. Pisces Energy is at work when we’re asleep too. If you pay attention? Your dreams will be speaking volumes to you now. Your intuition will also be quite on point, pay heed to it too… & rest! Rest, rest, rest! I’m sure you’ll have been feeling like your battery is almost out of juice. Keep your schedule light & your commitments sparse, where you are able. Get your horizontal 8 hours *every* night, please.
Having said this, we have all the Planets honouring us with Direct motion until March 7th. Planets Direct = a tail wind! But oh my, that’s only a few days away! It IS a great time to get anything new in your life going. For almost all of the rest of the Year, we have one or another Planet in Retrograde. If I’m contradicting myself, hey, don’t blame me! That’s Pisces for you. Go or stop? Get up or sit down? On the one hand, we really need to take it easy, on the other we should use this first week to get a move on! Trouble is, we really aren’t too clear on *what* we should be doing. My best advice is to carve yourself some space to think things through as best you can & prioritise. What’s important & needs a good push toward where you’d like to find yourself in December? I feel tired just thinking about it so I’m sure you do too, but try.
On March 7th, in comes the first of the Retrogrades, with Jupiter in Scorpio. Trust Jupiter to go first! He won’t be Direct until July, so the Planet of good fortune & expansion kinda goes underground. It’s quite a shift, being in Scorpio AND underground is full on. Our Optimism can take a bit of a hit. We may be a little less happy go lucky & more serious about life again. Our inner selves, our core beings, are being brought to our attention & we’ll need to start processing much of what was left unresolved since mid October, last Year. Scorpio & Taurus will probably notice this the most. Sagittarians too, as Jupiter is their Ruler. March 13th & 14th are good days though! Being able to solve a mystery or two is likely & it’s a nice time to look at past hurts, see them through a different lens & heal them.
Early in the Month, the Sun, Mercury & Venus, in Pisces, are all fairly active. Shining in a Pisces way is how to go. The focus is on the Spiritual. Be flexible & creative. Contemplate the softer & more serene side of life. Communicate your dreams & wishes, put them out into the World. Dress in colours & clothes to match your mood! If you are business minded, your time will come after the first couple of weeks but for now, there’s really nothing else for it… Go with The Flow. Otherwise you’ll just exhaust yourself & not reach your destination anyway! Sleeping through your alarm & spending WAY too much time getting anything done just kinda happens. Toward the middle of the Month, Mercury & Venus both have Squares to Saturn & sober up fast, before heading into Aries, where the pace will quicken.
Speaking of Mercury, he goes into his Retrograde Shadow (yes, AGAIN!), in Aries, on the 8th of March & is Officially Rx on the 23rd. Try & wrap up your loose ends before he goes into that Shadow & certainly before the 23rd. & you know the drill by now! Re EVERYTHING. Research, recheck, re-evaluate, rethink. Double check your schedule & appointments. Keep your eyes on your keys, your diary & your phone until he goes Direct, on the 16th of April. Try to communicate as clearly as possible, throughout.
Mars is in Sagittarius. He’s been there for some time, but soon he’ll go into Capricorn (Yo Cap, heads UP!!) In the beginning of the Month, he’s Squaring all the Planets in Pisces, a challenging Aspect. He’s all action packed a la Sadge & “Lets get this party started!!”, whilst the Sun, Venus & Mercury are almost fast asleep. It’ll depend on your Chart how you’re going. Mars may well have helped to boost your energy to Get Things Done, or he may have completely drowned. Saturn is pointing his bony finger of structure on & off throughout March, Pluto isn’t causing too much trouble right now & Uranus has mostly nice Aspects, so he’s not blowing us up, too often. The above is enough anyway, thank you very much!
The Full Moon is at 11:51, on Friday March 2nd @11 Degrees of Virgo. The Moon is sitting alone in Virgo, but it’s Opposing the Sun & Neptune in Pisces. Virgo is the Sign of details, order & organisation, which is exactly what Pisces needs more of, usually. However having the Sun & Neptune Conjunct is a LOT of Pisces Power & I feel the poor Moon is a little overwhelmed. The Moon Rules emotions, of course, so expect to feel… well… all in your feelings! Don’t give yourself a hard time though. Lecturing yourself right now won’t help. What do Virgo & Pisces share though? They’re both amazing Healers. Heal whatever comes up for you, over the next two weeks. Use the Energy to cleanse & purge “infection”. If something has been eating away at you, here’s your chance to lance it, clean it out & be done with it, for good! Virgos make excellent Surgeons, Pisces make for THE best Nurses, you’ll be in great hands.
The New Moon is on Sunday March 18th, at 00:11, @26 Degrees of Pisces. Here’s your Pisces wishing well! Cast your net out into the World with whatever your imagination can scheme up. You’ll be insightful right now, again your intuition will be heightened. Keep one foot on the ground, but listen to the inner you, reclaim your power, renew your Religious or Spiritual practices. Commit to your Creativity. It’s good to renew projects with your kids or for doing fun stuff with your pets. Dream up joint ventures with partners, or just those you want to pair with yourself. Venus & Mercury are still holding hands on the New Moon, even though they’ll have moved into Aries by now. They’re having a challenging conversation with Mars, but all in all there are some nice Aspects. Mars is our action, Venus what we love & Mercury what we say. Make this a New Moon to gently push yourself past your blocks & challenges & sew seeds of love in a creative way.
Bonus Points to anyone who has noticed how many times I’ve said “Feel” or “Feeling”. That’s all I CAN write in Pisces time. Pisces FEEEELS. It’s the total beauty of this Sign & their total down fall. When in balance, they are empathy personified! They’re sensitive & feel too much, too often. They feel everything, always. It’s often overwhelming, it’s a lot guys! Look after your Pisces people because odds are, all they do is look after you.
