& here we are in October, Ruled by the lovely Sign of Libra!
Aside from the usual Libran realms of hospitality, art, design, fashion & beauty, this is also a great time to focus on strengthening relationships & partnerships of all kinds. Any challenges in both romantic & business areas of life can be addressed with a more diplomatic, cooperative & harmonious energy. It’s also a good time for legal matters, Libra being the Sign of the scales, justice & balance. So where there are issues of inequality & unfairness, when the Sun is in Libra, negotiations tend to take on a more harmonious & beneficial flavour.
As the month starts, we are coming off a Mars, Venus & Neptune (fantasy!) combination, which may have left us with an over glamorised or idealistic view of our relationships. Now, both these Planets, which Rule the Masculine & Feminine, will come together for a while & Square off with Saturn (facts & structure). There’s energy here for us to balance ourselves out &, especially in romantic relationships, sort through our differences. If we’re prepared to look at hard questions & answers, Saturn will ensure what we are left with is realistic & sturdy. Libra Season is an excellent time to kick off counselling or to add a fresh & more supportive foundation to what we already have. If single, we’re likely to get a better grasp on what we truly want & need in relationship & we need to get out there, socialise more & find it!
All month how we interact with those around us will be a focus & we’ll be dealing with what we want individually verses what we want from others. How can we strike a healthy balance through give & take? Compromise is a key word! Things we’ve been dealing with since December 2016 & March of this year, may finally come up again for some closure. Much of the “excavation” work we’ve been doing internally can now start to manifest outwardly. Here’s to some constructive outcomes! We end the month with a Cosmic Kiss… on the 27th, the Sun will Conjunct Jupiter, the Planet Ruling favours & expansion. Make today count.
The Full Moon this month (@12 degrees Aries) will fall on Friday, October 6th at 04:40. Being in Aries, themes of individuality, our self image & esteem are all matters which will likely come into focus. The Full Moon is always an emotional time & as Mercury (communication) is still in Virgo, we may have a tendency to be a little critical & cutting in our approach. Fiery determination to transform yourself or to draw boundaries may reach a fruitful culmination… just remember to apply tact, balance & diplomacy! Be kind to yourself & others.
The New Moon is on Friday the 20th at 05:11 (@26 degrees Libra). All of the areas discussed this month can be revamped! What kind of new energy can you bring to your creative pursuits? Your relationships? Your intimacy, shared resources or money? Who do you want to partner with? Try doing things differently by going to new places, be they art galleries or beauty salons. Spring clean & beautify your home or office. Your aim is to create more flow, harmony & happiness.
