The goddess Isis was one of the five children of the earth god Geb and the sky goddess Nut and is said to have fallen in love with her brother Osiris in their mother's womb. Osiris and Isis were destined to marry each other and become the first king and queen of Egypt. Isis was usually shown as a women with a throne emblem on her head or woman with bird's wings under her arms.
